A video is being widely shared on social media platforms showing thousands of people marching in a rally is being shared claiming that it shows a 'left rally' in Maharashtra in support of the ongoing farmers' agitation in Delhi.
The video was shared on Facebook with the caption saying, ‘Left rally in Maharashtra in support of Delhi farmers agitation’.
In the 3-minute long video, one could see walking on a road and some slogans can be heard in the background in support of farmers and farmer's unions.
With the help of a reverse image search, we found the same video uploaded on a YouTube channel in April 2018.
The context of the video could not be found out however, it can be concluded that it has no connection with the ongoing protests as has been existing on the internet since 2018, much before the new agricultural laws were passed in the Parliament.
The video is at least 2-year-old and is being falsely linked to the ongoing farmers' agitation in Delhi.
