Recently, a claim is going viral on social media that Nepal has shot down an Indian helicopter. A Twitter user Najib Ahmed shared a video with the caption "Nepal shot down Indian Hel .. Today, Indian airforces crossed Nepalian border to conduct airstrikes on the Nepalian territories. One of Indian HAL Rudra Helicopter was shot and captured one Indian pilot. Nepal announced not to return pilot to India."

The same claim is being made on Youtube as well.
With the help of reverse image search on keyframes of the video, we found several web posts in which same video has been used. Military.com had used the same video in an article dated 17th Oct 2012. According to the portal, "Syrian rebels had shot down a Syrian Army helicopter over the capital causing it to explode in midair.
The same video uploaded on the YouTube page of The Telegraph on October 17, 2012.
Also, we didn't find any credible media reports or murmur about Nepal shooting down any Indian helicopter.
The viral video is from Syria capturing Syrian rebels shooting down a Syrian Army helicopter over the capital causing it to explode in midair. The video has nothing to do with India.
The claim that Nepal has shot down an Indian helicopter is false.
